The 2018 Evening of Arts and Culture, a free program representing the depth of the arts in Los Alamos, will be held on Friday, October 12 from 5 - 9 pm. The event will feature 27 diverse performances across nine venues, primarily taking place in the Los Alamos Creative District.
The Los Alamos Arts Council, as well as the musical and artistic director of the award-winning Los Alamos Community Winds, Ted Vives, has spearheaded and organized this year’s Evening of Arts and Culture with support from Los Alamos County, Los Alamos Creative District, Los Alamos MainStreet and the Los Alamos Concert Association.
This event has traditionally served to kick off the Art Forum’s Season of Art and Culture. Los Alamos celebrates the national Month of Arts and Humanities with a program booklet about all events in Los Alamos this Fall. Locals and visitors can pick up a copy at various locations around town, including the Los Alamos and White Rock Visitor Centers and the Los Alamos Municipal Building.

Estimates reported that more than 1000 people participated in the 2017 Evening of Arts and Culture, and we hope to surpass that number in 2018!
